For a friend or family member collecting you in a personal car, the official HOU pickup instructions identify Curb Zones 2 and 3 outside Baggage Claim/Arrivals on Level 1. Passenger drop-off is at Departures on Level 2. Parking is prohibited at the terminal curb.

Drivers waiting for a passenger can use the free cell phone lot at 7450 Airport Boulevard. It is open 24 hours; the driver must stay in the vehicle. Have the passenger call when ready before driving to the curb.

The airport’s limousine and sedan instructions identify Baggage Claim/Arrivals as the pickup level and direct passengers to meet their driver in baggage claim. Airport limo drivers must be badged; use a prearranged reservation.

1. Check your flight’s baggage carousel and collect your luggage.
2. Read your chauffeur’s message and confirm the meeting landmark.
3. For an arranged inside greeting, meet at the confirmed public baggage-claim point.
4. If your reservation specifies curbside service, ask for the exact exit and loading location before going outside.
5. Confirm the chauffeur and vehicle against your reservation.

General personal-car Zones 2 and 3 are not a universal instruction for every paid transportation service.
