Landing at an unfamiliar airport is easier when you know the next step. With TopLine Limousine, your chauffeur monitors your flight, contacts you after landing and confirms where to meet. The meeting point depends on your flight, baggage claim and the pickup arrangement in your reservation.

This IAH meet and greet guide explains the arrival experience. For vehicle options and the wider service area, visit our IAH Airport Transportation page.

How IAH meet and greet works in 5 steps

  1. Share your flight details. Include the arriving flight number, arrival date, passenger count, luggage and a mobile number that works after landing. Confirm that you want meet-and-greet assistance when arranging the ride.
  2. We monitor your arrival. TopLine tracks the flight for early or delayed arrival updates and coordinates the pickup around the latest information. If the airline changes your flight number, you miss a connection or the flight is canceled, contact us so we can review the plan.
  3. Look for your arrival text. After your flight lands, your chauffeur sends a message introducing themselves and confirming the meeting instructions. Landing time is not the same as being ready outside: deplaning and baggage collection still take time.
  4. Confirm your bags and meeting point. Tell the chauffeur whether you have checked luggage. We coordinate around your baggage carousel and confirm where to meet; use the airport display for your flight’s current carousel and share it if needed. With carry-ons only, let the chauffeur know you can proceed sooner.
  5. Meet, receive assistance and depart. For an arranged domestic inside greeting, look for your name sign at the confirmed public meeting point. For international arrivals, complete immigration and customs before following the outside pickup instructions. Your chauffeur helps with luggage and the walk or transfer to the vehicle.

Domestic arrivals: meet your chauffeur with a name sign

For a reserved inside greeting, the chauffeur waits at the agreed public baggage-claim or reception point with a discreet passenger name sign. They do not meet you at the aircraft gate or inside a restricted arrivals corridor. Check the name against your reservation and your chauffeur’s message before leaving with anyone.

Meet Your ChauffeurA small name sign helps you identify your chauffeur at the public meeting point confirmed by text.

The correct baggage-claim area matters more than assuming your aircraft’s gate terminal is also your pickup terminal. Airline operations and baggage routing can vary, so keep your phone available and follow the location confirmed for your own arrival. Check your flight’s actual baggage-claim information rather than relying only on the airline name.

If you cannot see the sign, stay at a clear landmark and send your location. A nearby door sign, carousel number or photo can help the chauffeur find you without asking you to walk around searching.

Baggage claim assistance without the guesswork

When you have checked bags, tell your chauffeur before leaving the aircraft or once your phone reconnects. Your chauffeur can coordinate the carousel and meeting point while you wait for your luggage. Confirm the carousel against the airport screens: assignments can change, and an old number in a guide or photo is not a live instruction.

Baggage Claim AssistanceOnce you have collected your luggage, your chauffeur can assist with the bags and guide you toward the vehicle.

Keep your baggage claim tags until you have your bags. If a bag is missing, report it to the airline’s baggage office and update the chauffeur before continuing to the pickup point. Chauffeur assistance does not replace the airline’s lost-baggage process. Share any oversized items, child seats, mobility equipment or extra suitcases in advance so the vehicle and assistance can be planned.

International arrivals: customs first, then the outside pickup zone

For TopLine’s international pickup arrangement described here, finish immigration, collect checked baggage and clear customs before heading outside. Your chauffeur cannot enter the restricted immigration or customs area to collect you or your bags. Send an update once you have cleared the process and are ready to follow the pickup instructions.

Your chauffeur then directs you to the agreed designated limo pickup zone outside at the arrivals curb. Use the terminal exit, door and zone provided in the current message, rather than heading to a taxi or ride-app line. The precise meeting point must be confirmed for your arrival; construction and airport instructions may affect routing.

International Arrivals PickupAfter clearing immigration and customs, meet outside at the pickup location confirmed by your chauffeur.

International processing times vary. Tell the chauffeur if passport control, customs or baggage takes longer than expected so the pickup can be coordinated. A tracked landing does not mean the vehicle can remain waiting indefinitely at an active curb.

IAH terminal map: find baggage claim and your exit

Use the official Houston Airports interactive map below to explore the terminals and locate baggage claim, exits and airport services. Select the relevant terminal and level, then look for your meeting landmark. The map supports navigation; your chauffeur’s current text confirms the pickup location for your reservation.

For the latest airport directions, check the official limousine and sedan pickup information. Follow airport staff and posted signs if they differ from an older screenshot. The images in this guide are AI-edited illustrations based on airport photographs; their visible carousel numbers and signs are not live pickup instructions.

IAH meet and greet FAQs

Is IAH meet and greet the same as curbside pickup?

An inside meet-and-greet arrangement includes a welcome at a confirmed public arrivals or baggage-claim point. Curbside pickup means meeting outside in the assigned loading area. TopLine coordinates the arrangement for your reservation; the international procedure in this guide uses the agreed outside limo pickup zone after customs.

Will my chauffeur have a name sign?

For an arranged domestic inside greeting, your chauffeur uses a discreet passenger name sign at the confirmed public meeting point. Follow your arrival message rather than assuming every pickup uses a sign indoors.

What if my flight arrives early or is delayed?

We monitor the arriving flight and coordinate around updates. Tell us about rebooking, a new flight number, cancellations or a missed connection because these changes may require a revised reservation.

Should I text while waiting for checked luggage?

Yes. Let the chauffeur know that you have checked bags, share the assigned carousel when available and send an update when your bags are collected. This helps coordinate your meeting.

Where do international passengers meet the chauffeur?

Clear immigration, baggage collection and customs first. For TopLine’s arrangement described here, follow the chauffeur’s current message to the designated outside limo pickup area. Confirm the exact terminal exit and zone before walking outside.

Can I see the price before reserving?

Yes. Open Check Rates & Book, enter your trip information and review available vehicle pricing before confirming. Confirm your meet-and-greet request and its arrangements with the reservation.

What if my phone signal is weak after landing?

Connect to the airport’s available Wi-Fi if needed and check for your chauffeur’s message. Stay at an identifiable public landmark and contact TopLine if you cannot connect with your assigned chauffeur.
